I can tell it’s the end of the semester by the amount of tension in my shoulders. The work is piling up and the end of the semester seems so close, but there is still so much left to do. Yesterday I had what I call a WW friendly day- meaning that I was too busy to ever even be hungry. At the end of days like that the only thing I can really do is to be thankful that I was so busy that I didn’t have time to stress eat! I am at home right now and just finished coding for the ump-teenth time. I am working on a qualitative research project and one of our group members had to fly home for a family emergency- so we have been meeting to figure out how we can continue to work on this monster of a project while she is away. Fortunately our group is a flexible one! It will be so good to get this project done, in the end we are going to have a huge document- we already have over 30 pages, and will be writing at least 20-30 more, not including the addition of over 100 pages of appendices! I love being in school…ergh.

I’m not sure how my weight is going this week, frankly I haven’t had the time to really care too much. I feel good, I have stayed on points except Tuesday night when Jered and I went to Bonefish Grill to celebrate the fact that Jered got a new job at W&M!! He will start in two weeks and I am so excited for him. This job is a huge boost for his career and will move him out of the print world and into the online world. We will also be able to commute together at least a few days a week- Hurray, less driving for me!!! Not to mention how fantastic it’s going to be to have him on campus for mid-day coffee breaks! What a sweet life we have!
