Week 4 Weigh-in

The fourth week of WW has come and gone, and much to my surprise I lost 3.2 pounds this week! I’m surprised because I hadn’t been feeling all that great this week and dipped pretty heavily into my flex points almost every day. With all said and done I had 12 flex points left at the end of the week, and also earned 10 activity points (I’m pretty sure I ate all of them!). I’ve been exercising regularly, which is why I think the weight is coming off so quickly.

Yesterday we went to Williamsburg to hit up the farmers market. I was pretty disappointed because they had no fresh produce at all! I guess I shouldn’t be too surprised by that since it is still technically winter, but I thought that there would at least be some lettuce or spinach or something wintery and green. We ended up buying some local honey which I have been putting in my tea and on my toast ever since. We also took advantage of the Art Cafe- since we were in Williamsburg we figured that we might as well! I had a poached egg, toast and salad and Jered and I shared a fruit plate. We are really learning how to make this WW thing work for us.

The last time I did WW I was pretty good for about 3 weeks. This week I felt the same way that I did in the third week of the last time I did the program. I felt like giving up more than a few times. But, very differently from the last time we did WW, we haven’t given up. In fact we are working harder even though it seems to be getting harder!

This week is my spring break- I plan on getting out in the yard and doing a little much needed weeding. I also have quite a bit of homework to get done before Thursday when I leave for a conference up in DC. It will be nice not to have to go up to Williamsburg for a few days, though!
